PRIMARY FUNCTION
The EMT-Basic/EMT-Intermediate works within a team in the delivery of quality care for emergency and non-emergency patients according to protocol and standards of care. Ensures consistent and proficient utilization of medical and communications equipment; maintains a positive, professional relationship with field personnel, administrative staff, and associated law enforcement agencies, fire, and medical personnel; demonstrates a positive leadership role.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum 21 years of age
2. Current Valid Texas Driver’s License
3. Acceptable Driving Record
4. EMT-Basic/EMT-Intermediate
Certification
5. Current BLS certification
6. Current PALS, PHTLS, or BLTS preferred
