Paramedic / EMT
Current Texas DSHS EMT-B/I/P or LP certification
Current CPR and BTLS certifications
Paramedics: ACLS, PALS, PHTLS/ITLS certifications
Current valid driver license
Possess a strong map reading skill
Pass a driving record check
Pass a written exam
Pass a physical agility test
Pass a drug screening
Pass a criminal background check
Pass an oral interview
Have a high school
diploma or GED
Dispatcher
High school diploma or GED
Possess proficient map reading skills
Possess the ability to multitask
Be proficient in data entry

Possess strong communications skills

Dispatchers must have a current DSHS certification at the EMT-B level or higher.
Dispatchers must have current EMD certification or must attend a company paid EMD course.
