Interfacility Transfers
MetroCare provides an important resource by transporting patients between healthcare facilities. MetroCare personnel provide a safe and compassionate environment for our patients requiring transport. MetroCare paramedics and emergency medical technicians are specially trained to provide basic and advanced levels of patient care to any type of medical condition.
Emergency 911 Services
MetroCare offers Emergency Medical Service to various communities across
North Texas. MetroCare staffs paramedic level ambulances for use in EMS settings
and has aggressive medical protocols. This allows MetroCare to provide the best pre-hospital patient care to injured and ill patients throughout our response areas.
MetroCare staffs and operates advanced communications centers as well. Emergency Medical Dispatchers are specially trained to provide life-saving instructions over the phone if the need arises. 911 operators dispatch the closest appropriate ambulances and support personnel to emergency scenes and coordinate their response with local police, fire departments and first responders.
Special Event / On-Site Medical Coverage
MetroCare offers on-site medical staffing for special events, such as sporting
events, concerts and competitions. MetroCare can also coordinate medical

CPR
A day of training at MetroCare teaches the fundamentals for administering Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation to patients suffering from cardiac arrest. This class also teaches rescue breathing for patients not able to breath on their own, as well as managing choking patients.
